About Us
We are excited to bring Women's Professional Basketball back to the RVA. We provide young women with the opportunity to continue their basketball career at the professional level. Our goal is to allow them to showcase their talents skills with the strong possibility to get recruited by the WNBA and/or receive a basketball contract to play overseas. We have been fortunate to place women overseas and with the WNBA.
We provide affordable summer entertainment for families and sports enthusiasts. Our season runs from July through September. Playoffs are using the last weekend of September of each season. Our games are currently played at Henrico High School. We are grateful to be a Community Partner with the Metropolitan Business League. Please visit our website: www.rvarunners.com.
