When Richard Davis opened the doors of Associated Insurance Systems Services, Inc. - Richard Davis in 1988, his mission wasn’t just to sell insurance to the community in which he lived. It was also to be exceptionally ethical and honest about it. That meant not only providing his customers with the right amount of coverage (no less but also no more!) and a competitive price but also making sure those customers clearly understood what they were purchasing. Decades later, Davis' mission is still the same and the impressive growth of his multi-line, full-service independent insurance agency is testament to that fact.

From representing a single insurance carrier when the agency first opened to now offering 22 regional and national insurance carriers (with access to several other specialty carriers), the family-owned and operated business has grown into one of the largest minority-owned insurance agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia, not to mention, one of the most respected.
