Each luncheon includes a fireside chat featuring an influential women in business. These quarterly luncheons are designed to provide training and networking opportunities for women professionals through open dialogue and full audience participation in a small, intimate setting. Topics in the past include effective communication conflict management, assertiveness, self-fulfillment, and upward mobility.
Featured Guest Speaker: Julie C. Hill
Julie Hill is Senior Vice President and Director of P.O.W.E.R for SONA Bank, a $2.3 billion community bank-targeting small to medium-sized businesses and consumers headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia. She is responsible for the company’s P.O.W.E.R. program, a proprietary brand of SONA Bank, which is a niche program focusing on women in business and stands for the Potential of Women Entrepreneurs Realized.
Under Julie’s direction, P.O.W.E.R. provides financial tools, business resources, and education and networking opportunities to currently over 1300 women business owners and entrepreneurs throughout Virginia and Maryland. Prior to joining SONA Bank, Julie served 19 years as the Vice President of Business Development for the Retail Merchants Association. In addition to her role as Director of P.O.W.E.R., Julie serves as the Chair for the National Kidney Foundation of Central Virginia and serves on the Foundation Board for NAWBO Richmond where she serves as the Treasurer. Also, serves on the Woman’s Advisory Board for Girl Scouts. Julie and her husband Richard reside in Fredericksburg, Va.

Allison Moore is a Comedian & Keynote Speaker from Hampton Virginia.
Allison proudly holds two degrees: BA (Business Mgt.-Norfolk State University) and MA (Human Resources Mgt.-The George Washington University).
