Be part of the Energy Tech 2025 Conference at the SPARK VIRGINIA Pitch Competition, where Virginia?s most innovative minds in utility, energy, and climate technology compete for $10,000 in prizes ($7,500 grand prize winner; $2,500 runner up)!

Taking place on March 6, 2025, at the Science Museum of Virginia during Energy Tech 2025 in Richmond, this exciting event will showcase groundbreaking technologies poised to transform Virginia?s energy economy.

Eight startups will pitch their cutting-edge solutions to a panel of Virginia?s top investors, utility executives, and energy leaders. With only five minutes to present and five minutes for Q&A, these entrepreneurs will compete for funding, recognition, and the opportunity to accelerate their journey to commercialization.

How-To Compete
Entering the Competition is easy, simply complete the few questions below and upload your corporate summary; keeping in mind that judges in this year's competition will be looking for depth of market understanding, technology uniqueness, and climate impact capabilities.

In the last section, you will be asked to complete an executive summary for your business. If you don't already have an corporate summary, an executive summary template is available here. You will have to make a copy or download to Word to be able to edit. Save your executive summary as a pdf and upload to the final section of this application.

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 5pm on February 12, 2025.
